Workshops and Study
Our research study examines the impact of PALM on dissemination and implementation of Vision and Change principles; if you choose to participate, you will 1) complete a survey 2) and/or participate in a half-day workshop with focus groups and interviews. These workshops and focus groups will be held immediately prior to or after key life science and life science education conferences, including: the Society for the Advancement of Biology Education Research (SABER), SABER West, American Society of Plant Biology (ASPB), American Society of Microbiology’s Conference on Undergraduate Education (ASMCUE), National Association of Biology Teachers (NABT), American Society of Cell Biology (ASCB), the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB), The Allied Genomics Conference (TAGC), and American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB). If you choose to participate in the workshop and focus groups, we will provide travel funding for you to attend the workshop and conference, including transportation, one night’s lodging and meals for two days.

The survey will ask you about your experiences with PALM, and then you will have the opportunity to indicate which workshops and which conferences you might be interested in attending. Note that the survey may take up to 20 minutes to complete. Each person who signs up will be provided funding for attending one workshop.
